  • Kristine Galan, LMSW (she/her)

    PSYCHOTHERAPIST

    Kristine is a Licensed Therapist. She obtained her Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University. She is a client-centered therapist dedicated to helping individuals reconnect with themselves and create meaningful, lasting change. She has worked with adolescents and young adults experiencing symptoms of anxiety, ADHD, depression, life transitions, interpersonal relationships, and working through trauma. Her clinical focus is working with adolescents and young adults in college, but she is open to working with everyone!

    She works collaboratively to understand each client’s unique experiences, strengths, and challenges. She strives to create a supportive and safe space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. She approaches therapy through a strong cultural lens, centering the environment, family systems, and cultural values that shape your inner world. Kristine’s goal is to help her clients find manageable ways to cope and build on their inner strength so they can face any challenging life circumstances. 

    She integrates modalities such as Motivational interviewing (MI), Mindfulness, Strengths based, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Care, and Somatic Experiencing (SE).  

    Kristine understands therapy can be intimidating and welcomes you to come as you are. She believes everyone deserves the opportunity to have their life story heard without judgement. 


  • Barbara Murphy, LMSW, LCADC (she/her)

    PSYCHOTHERAPIST

    Barbara has many years of experience in clinical services for a wide variety of populations including adults, couples, and veterans for both mental health and substance use. Barbara has worked in a variety of levels of care, including outpatient, OP, IOP, Partial Care, and Residential, acting as both clinical coordinator and therapist. Through her pursuit of a master’s degree in social work, Barbara was able to achieve licensure as an LMSW. Barbara has been able to pursue her goals of empowering others to overcome the challenges in their own lives.

    Barbara is furthering her education by obtaining her credentials as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and has experience with Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Narrative Therapy (NT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). These interventions assist with Anxiety, Depression, Substance use, Bipolar Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, childhood trauma, abuse, maladaptive defense mechanisms and distorted thought processes. Barbara is an advocate for the prevention of suicide and has worked at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Crisis Lifeline.

    Barbara has experience of working with individuals in a variety of levels of care. She strongly believes in providing evidence-based treatment but adapting these treatment to best meet the individualized needs of the clients she serves.

  • Abrille Brown, LCSW (she/her)

    CLINICAL DIRECTOR

    Abrille obtained her MSW from New York University. She believes in using a strengths-based approach to assist you in overcoming challenging thoughts, feelings and actions. She has years of experience as a psychotherapist working with people who struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and trauma-related symptoms. Abrille has had experience working with marginalized populations who face struggles related to microaggressions, discrimination in the workplace, and various other trauma.

    She has experience using evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), Somatic Experiencing (SE), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
